Preliminary sketch of Suj. The nose and mouth are too big, clearly, and the eyes are not aligned properly, thus this does not do him justice at all. If I were to grid the photo, though, I think my efforts would be much more solid. Photo.
You're definitely making progress and getting much better. Keep up the practice and it'll come along. I'm horrible at drawing people, but I got a lot of practice drawing buildings when I was in school. Good luck.
